During Pennsylvania's Phase II licensing round, CLC Design Studio secured its inaugural project for a grow and processing facility, marking a significant milestone for the firm. This ambitious multi-phase endeavor is designed to expand the facility to a sprawling 50,000 square feet, a plan that garnered approval from Pennsylvania’s Department of Health. This strategic expansion aims to meet the rising patient demand while enhancing cost-effectiveness and profitability as the state's marijuana program continues to evolve.

In collaboration with Nexus Corporation, CLC Design Studio spearheaded the initial development of a 35,000 square foot facility in Pottsville. For the subsequent expansion, the team partnered with DocHouse's operations, growing, and manufacturing experts to devise an efficient 24,000 square foot headhouse layout. This sophisticated design encompasses extraction, processing, drying/trimming, and storage areas, along with a shipping and handling section, office suites, and other amenity spaces. The result is a streamlined, state-of-the-art facility poised to support the burgeoning needs of Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana industry.
