CLC Design Studio won its first grow and processing facility project during the Phase II licensing round in PA. This project involved a multi-phase build out that would eventually expand the facility to 50,000 square feet. Not only was the plan well received by Pennsylvania’s Department of Health but this would allow for accommodating the increase in patient demand and create cost-effectiveness and profitability as Pennsylvania’s marijuana program matures.
CLC Design Studio worked closely with Nexus Corporation on the initial 35,000 square foot facility in Pottsville. Working with DocHouse's operations, growing and manufacturing team, for the expansion, an efficient 24,000 square foot headhouse layout was developed that includes: extraction, processing, drying/trimming, storage, a shipping & handling area, as well as an office suite and other amenity spaces.

Design 710 won its first grow and processing facility project during the Phase II licensing round in PA. Chris worked closely with Nexus Corporation on this 35,000 square foot facility in Pottsville PA. Working with DocHouse's operations, growing and manufacturing team, Chris developed an efficient 24,000 square foot headhouse layout that includes: extraction, processing, drying/trimming, storage, a shipping & handling area, as well as an office suite and other amenity spaces.
Central to the concept, and well received by the DOH, was the approach to design the facility’s eventual 50,000 square foot construction to be completed over several phases to allow for both the natural increase in patient counts and cost effective and profitable operations as Pennsylvania’s marijuana program matures.
